‘Najwa watched as Taliep was killed’ (Independent Online)- Anxiety Disorder News

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007

Najwa Petersen, wife of murdered musician Taliep Petersen, let his killers into their Athlone home and watched as her husband was shot and killed by them, the State told the Wynberg magistrate’s court on Tuesday. State prosecutor Shareen Riley put it to Emjedi, who took the witness stand to testify in support of his bail application, that “she (Najwa) provided (the killers) access” to the house and that Taliep Petersen was killed “in her presence”. That also came to nothing, and instead Emjedi arranged for the remaining two accused, Hassen and Snyders, to go to the Petersen house in Athlone on December 16, where Najwa let them in, and they killed Taliep in her presence. read more

These data support the notion that continuation and maintenance treatment with sertraline may not only improve symptoms of PTSD and prevent relapse but may also improve associated occupational and social impairment and quality of life. read more
